Belton were delighted to be given the opportunity to build this large Bungalow.
A very modern property, adapted for disabled use, It was a pleasure to work with the Clients and Architects on this project.
Following an extensive selection process Belton Construction were very pleased to be appointed as main contractor for the construction of the special home for a severely disabled customer.
The project in Faldingworth, northwest of Lincoln, required the demolition of an existing bungalow and construction of a new purpose designed bungalow.
Unfortunately during the course of the excavations for the foundations contamination was discovered. The structural engineers revised the design for the concrete foundations and a sealed gas membrane was required for the full area of the property.
The surface water drainage was complex and 2 attenuation tanks were required by the water authorities.
High quality finishes were specified including hardwood skirtings, doors, frames and flooring.
The design also incorporated many environmentally friendly features including a ground source heat pump, solar p.v. panels, a heat recovery system and underfloor heating throughout.
The project was completed and handed over on time.
The consultants and customer were delighted with their finished new home
